Tips for Winter Preparedness

Make sure the foundation to house or mobile home is air tight and vents are closed.

Make sure you and your family know where the main water shut-off valve is located

Disconnect garden hoses and make sure sprinklers/irrigation systems are off and drained

Open cabinets and vanities to allow warmer air to flow to water pipes

If necessary, drip faucets (both hot and cold) when temperature drops below freezing

Check meter pit and lid for damage (securely on and no cracks/holes) - call us for repairs

Be certain heat tape is working properly and insulate pipes as needed

The Deadline is Approaching!

Our deadline is October 11th to report our results to EPA on the service line material. If you have not yet completed the questionnaire, please click the link below. As required by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), we are conducting this Lead Service Line Inventory for both the water system-owned and customer-owned portions of the water service lines.
