Our district's water meters are read each month. Bills are mailed out the end of every month and become delinquent after the 15th, no further notice is sent. After the 15th, a penalty is then charged of 5%. If the bill has become delinquent, the water will be turned off and the meter locked. The meter will be unlocked and water turned on after the customer pays the past due and current bill plus a $50.00 reconnect fee. A $50.00 service charge will be charged when a trip is made to the service location whether or not the meter is locked. Our service personnel will not attempt to collect payment at the location.
If paying online or through the automated phone payment system, please be sure to include the $50.00 reconnect fee. The meter will not be unlocked until this fee is paid.
Failure to receive a bill does not relinquish responsibility for payment.
